Doria-Adoukè is a black French-born artist based in London. She is specialised in graphic novels and fashion illustrations.
Her aesthetic is a fusion of various cultures influenced by her travels and life experience.
She experienced a multi-cultural environment in Madagascar from an early age. Back in France, despite the fact that she was the only black in her classroom (in a mono-cultural environment), she grew up with friends from a different background, religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation.
Her aspiration is to give a tribute to this multi-cultural environment. She started with drawing black women, as she wanted to see more women that physically look like her, especially since they are not represented in the media.
Her art is based on mixed-media (pencil, graphic design, and watercolour).
She also designs logos , personalised illustrations, book covers …
In the shop, you can discover her creative products such as tote bags, handcrafted greeting cards and stationery.
